Social network alert

I just found the Outsider Writers Collective. Since I usually enjoy being a guinea pig for most things Web 2.0, I got myself a page there.

This site’s pretty new – last week I was member #349. It’s designed in Ning, and has many of the same applications you’d find on Myspace or Facebook. It doesn’t look quite as fancy, of course. In fact, it’s pretty grassroots.

The Outsider Writers Collective won’t be for everyone – by definition, I don’t think it really CAN be… but if you’re a writer or an artist, it’s definitely a friendly place that’s worth a look.

    Hi Your book – ‘servicing the pole’ sounds exciting – you have given a very well written intro. I almost had a feeling you were taking a philosophical leap in the last few lines. I would pick it up as a reader.
