I was surprised and delighted to find that Grace Undressed has honored Servicing the Pole with this award:

I’ve picked bloggers based in the quality of their writing, not based on the subjects they cover, and these blogs are very different from each other.

1. Manchester regional editor of Succour magazine Max Dunbar‘s blog. Essays about writing and some politics.

2. Erik Hare’s blog Barataria. Forward-thinking essays about how literature, politics and culture all fit together into larger pictures.

3. An excellent stripper blog, Red Spine.

4. Miss Forthright. Has a memoir on authonomy about bipolar. Her writing is just fantastic. (link now defunct)

5. This one’s as dark as the title suggests. Private Whore Hysteria.

So those are my five, and do make sure to check out Grace Undressed. I discovered her blog a while back through Boing Boing. She can really write.
